missions ministry team

The Missions Ministry Team is made up of Christians who believe that God has given them the gifts of evangelism, serving, giving, showing mercy, and exhortation.
They use their gifts and abilities to touch the lives of those who are in need with the love of Jesus Christ.

BAPTIST MEN
The Baptist Men’s Ministry of MBC is made up of men who are committed to serve the Lord Jesus Christ through missions related projects and ministry.  Baptist Men meet regularly the second Tuesday of each month.
DISASTER RELIEF
Members of MBC have a long history of participating in the Disaster Relief efforts of NC Baptist Men.  Training and  certification events are held throughout the year to equip men and women to share the love of Christ with others who are in need.
Operation INASMUCH
Each Spring MBC members participate in this statewide ministry event by sharing the love of Christ through a variety of hands-on  projects in our community.


OPERATION  CHRISTMAS CHILD
Each year we collect and/or put together shoeboxes that are distributed to impoverished children throughout the world by Samaritan’s Purse.
LOCAL MISSIONS PROJECTS
  • Jesus Loves Me Party— Christmas party and gifts for children in our community
  • Back to School Celebration— The collection and distribution of back to school supplies to children in our congregation
  • Christian Ministry/Lincoln County—Food collection several times each year for distribution by CMLC
  • Handy-Man Projects— Special ministry opportunities that help the homebound, sick, and less fortunate in our congregation and community
